Canadian eTA for Bahamian Citizens

(Electronic Travel Authorization – by air only)

The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is a digital pre-screening that Bahamian passport-holders must obtain before boarding a flight to Canada. It is linked electronically to your passport, remains valid for up to five years or until the passport expires, and allows multiple short stays (normally up to six months per visit). No embassy trip, biometrics, or passport mailing is required—applications are submitted online and most approvals arrive within minutes.
