Bahamian e-Visa

Overview

The Bahamian e-Visa is a fully-online visa that lets citizens of visa-required countries visit The Bahamas for tourism, business meetings, or family visits.

Eligibility Criteria

• Hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date
• Are a national of a country that requires a visa to enter The Bahamas
• Plan to stay 90 days or less and will not take up employment
• Can show sufficient funds and a return or onward ticket

Required Documents

• Passport biodata page (colour scan, validity ≥ 6 months)
• One recent passport-style photo on white background
• Bank statement or bank reference letter (last 3 months) proving funds
• Job letter / business licence (self-employed) or school letter
• Police certificate (issued within six months)
• Medical certificate (issued within six months)
• Original Birth Certificate when applying for a child
• Hotel or cruise itinerary or invitation letter from host
• Flight itinerary / ticket copy
• Copies of previous Bahamas or other visas (if any)
• Invitation letter from Bahamian host if applying for Sponsored Visa
• All documents MUST be translated into English and certified
